Proteus               has               only               lost               one               time               in               the               eleven               races               he               has               run               at               Corpus               Christi,               that               lone               defeat               being               a               come-from-behind               second               in               his               absolute               first               schooling               race               there.

In               his               latest               endeavor,               Proteus               went               to               the               corner               on               top               by               a               length               and               opened               it               up               to               nine               at               the               wire,               with               only               River               Cobra               within               hailing               distance               when               all               was               said               and               done.
               Senator               Geller               continues               on               his               roll               down               in               Bonita               Springs,               Florida               at               Naples-Fort               Myers               Greyhound               Park.

The               count               for               the               Senator               is               at               eleven               in               a               row,               as               he               rolled               to               victory               on               July               12th               after               clearing               the               turn               in               fifth               place,               seven               lengths               behind               the               frontrunners.

This               win               was               a               typical               Geller               effort,               as               he               wove               his               way               through               traffic,               escaping               what               looked               like               a               sure               loss               and               turning               it               into               an               exciting               win,               much               to               the               relief               of               the               bettors               who               thought               so               much               of               him               that               they               made               him               the               seventy               cents               to               the               dollar               chalk.

Senator               Geller,               who               is               over               four               years               old               now,               seems               undaunted               by               having               dogs               in               front               of               him               each               time               out;               in               every               one               of               his               wins               during               this               current               run               he               has               not               been               in               the               lead               at               the               first               call               and               is               often               as               many               as               ten               lengths               back!
               After               a               brief               and               well               deserved               rest,               JNB               Atomic               Bomb               has               returned               to               action               at               Twin               River               Greyhound               Park               in               Lincoln,               Rhode               Island.

The               Bomb,               who               runs               for               the               Tutalo-Richard               outfit               at               Twin               River,               picked               up               his               thirteenth               win               of               the               season               on               July               9th,               as               he               was               never               challenged               from               the               five               hole,               touring               the               5/16ths               of               a               mile               in               30.25.

The               victory               was               JNB's               Atomic               Bomb's               third               in               four               tries               since               his               short               time               away               from               the               oval,               and               it               is               at               the               point               now               that               to               beat               him               you               may               just               have               to               knock               him               over.
               Up               in               New               Hampshire,               they               are               still               waiting               for               Flying               Linden               to               lose               at               the               Lodge               at               Belmont.

Ten               times               Linden               has               ventured               to               post               at               the               Lodge,               located               southwest               of               Lake               Winnipesauke,               and               ten               time               times               he               has               emerged               unscathed.

The               Flyin               Colors               Kennel               star               has               been               in               just               one               close               race,               and               even               that               was               two               and               a               half               lengths               at               the               wire.

Linden               has               run               the               quickest               time               over               the               sprint               course               in               every               card               that               he               has               been               on,               as               he               continues               his               bid               to               go               through               the               entire               Belmont               meet               without               a               blemish               on               his               record.

A               bit               to               the               southwest               in               the               Granite               State,               Under               Attack               got               back               on               the               positive               side               of               the               ledger               at               Hinsdale               Greyhound               Park               in               Hinsdale,               New               Hampshire               on               July               12th               .

His               latest               win               came               in               30.83               seconds,               following               a               pair               of               lackluster               efforts               that               trainer               Gil               Field               superstitiously               blamed               on               Attack               being               given               a               new               kennel               muzzle.

After               giving               the               four               and               a               half               year               old               veteran               back               his               old               one,               he               went               out               and               easily               defeated               UMR               Brawler               for               his               track               leading               twenty-second               win.
